Do you ever look around your current reality in life and start thinking, is this where I belong to, is this where I desired myself to be or is this where I set my goals to be…

IF The Answer is Yes …then well you are amongst those less than 2% of people on this earth who design there path and make all progress in the same direction to reach where they always wished to be…well for the remaining 98% its either just by chance or even when they reach there they have no idea how they reached there and what does it mean to be there.

Why most of us let the journey called life take us along in what ever directions it wishes and we as helpless beings more like a feather blown away by the wind keep moving in whatever direction the wind (life) is taking us, now that we don’t know where we were suppose to go so where ever we have reached is considered achievement.

But wait, then why after reaching there and being there for few days do we feel a deep sense of un accomplishment and unfulfillment.

Now the big question is we all are here to live and enjoy our life so where is the question of where do i belong to, or where should i plan to reach, life can not be and should not be measured with where i have reached and where i wish to reach…it should just be lived and enjoyed.

If we let this argument ride over our logical thinking still then why most of us feel a void or a vacuum and why do we feel that something is not going right in my life, something is missing…because sooner or later as a thinking human being i will face this question in my mind, there is no meaning to my existence.

Most of us are guided by a purpose in life and that purpose work as a guiding tool to keep us aligned to our path, as and when we deviate from our path we get back on track if we are conscious about our destination or purpose, and if we don’t reach where we are suppose to that’s when we get this feeling of void or a vacuum.

So, what should we do to avoid being at the wrong place where i don’t belong or how can i review if my progress is on right path or not.

Ask yourself /work towards:

  1. What is my purpose of existence, if you don’t have one either spend time and energy to find one, if you really wish to achieve a life of fulfillment you will surely go all out and try to find it out.
  2. Divide your bigger purpose/goal into small measurable outcomes or bench marks, these will help you to keep yourself aligned and as and when you start getting deviated from your path, they will help you to get back to your track.
  3. Enjoy your journey, even though you will keep an eye on the destination but please enjoy your journey, those smaller achievements will guide you to bigger achievements and ultimately help you to keep progressing on your journey.
  4. Have courage to pursue your purpose in life, sometimes the situations may seem like unattainable and difficult to overcome, you might also get occupied with FEAR, that’s where your courage should come in handy and help you overcome the fear and guide you to your progress.
  5. Build up a strong guiding force, which normally comes from your family, friends and well wishers, as and when you feel the need for emotional strength or you start loosing sight of your purpose, these are the people who will always guide you.
  6. Keep having a strong faith in who so ever you believe in, your God, nature, almighty…believe that your existence on this earth is not without any purpose, that you are here to play a bigger role and no one else can take your place, believe that there is someone out there who will always be there to hold you if something goes unexpected.

We all are given one life to fulfill our aspirations, goals , purpose, by not planning a clear road map to where we wish to go and what we wish to achieve, we leave things to chance, and whatever come out of chance can most often not be what we desired…so lets set ourselves a clear road map and have the courage, faith and willingness to travel on the same.

So, Know where you belong to at all times and when ever you feel this is not where you belong to, go back to your vision board and get yourself on track.
